Need of the Hour -- Migration From HD to SD

As the series of lockdown continues the pitch of boredom increases..We have mainly 2 options left over to decrease the intensity of the boredom..one is Mobile & the other is Television. Mobile seemed interesting in the initial days..We have played the games, done some TikTok videos, enjoyed group call/group chat, etc..As the days passed by, we are not at all interested in such things now & television channels started replaying the old episodes and we are not much interested to watch them again.. Hugely disappointed by their repeated movies, game shows, comedy shows, cookery shows, etc.. Oh God.! Is there any entertainment for this lockdown?? The boon in this lockdown is "web series" hosted by NetFlix, Amazon Prime Videos, etc..

Initially, only a few are habituated to watch these web series.. Due to plenty of leisure time & lack of entertainment in one's life the web series got its fame. Most of us got more engaged & impressed with many web series available on certain platforms.. It seemed exciting, interesting, horrible with unexpected twists in the story had grabbed the attention of the people.. As smart T.V's are available in every home, we can experience good visual effects, Rich quality, perfect audio in theatrical style.. All these features have replaced traditional things like regional movies, regional programs,etc..  Everything moved with the flow to some extent..

 Suddenly, one day, the video started looking blur.. I have thought it might be some network issue..But the same scenario have repeated for 3 to 4 days..I really cannot understand what's happening around.. Had the same discussion with my friends, colleagues, etc..everyone had left with the same issue..It's not the internet issue/signal issue (or) any other..Its purely the streaming media issue..

The streaming had migrated its streaming platform from HD to SD..What do this HD & SD mean..?? Before knowing these terms, the term "RESOLUTION" should be known..

RESOLUTION: The depth of zooming an image is known as "Resolution" For example whenever you zoom an image to know the particulars of it, some times we get the information of the image that are so far in the image & sometimes we may not get the information even if it is clearly zoomed.. To what extent we can zoom is the resolution of camera..This resolution can be expressed in "Pixels"

HD(High Definition): A high degree of detail in an image is known as "High Definition" We can even notice the small details in the image..

SD(Standard Definition): A common(or)basic degree detail in an image is known as "Standard Definition" We cannot notice the small details in the image..

The difference between HD & SD images/videos can be clearly observed in smart T.V's with 41 inches & more.. If you are using these streaming services through mobile/laptops changes cannot be noticed easily..The main reason behind this migration is the increase in the load on the servers, due to its huge subscribers in this lockdown period.. The streaming biggies had done this by the orders given by "CELLULAR OPERATORS ASSOCIATION of INDIA". I have thought this streaming services can make much money despite lockdown. Because they have not reduced the charges, though their services were not good.. If you had the same perspective as above, we are absolutely mistaken..In many of the cases, a single user I.D can be streamed by ten at a time.. The load on the server is not due to it's subscribers, but because of its users without subscription..So, if the streaming service believes they are smart, but the users had become more smarter than them..Of course, this is a disgusting problem in longer periods..Hope these streaming services come with an alternative rather than decreasing the quality (or) other.. The bandwidth for these services can be increased if COAI permits and users can able to feel the things as before..
