The concept of Facebook shops is designed in the view of COVID-19.. As the lockdown is continuing like a daily serial, the time permitted for the essential needs was very limited and there are some cases where marketers were unable to supply the goods to the customers.. As many people are not habituated to a long wait, they return their homes with empty hands & approach these grocery shops the very next day..
Some intelligent & big entrepreneurs had already started their door delivery services to the customers.. The medium entrepreneurs who do not have any website to their store started booking their orders through Whatsapp and delivering them on their own..But how about micro & small stores..?? They do not have the bulk of items to sell & cannot go for a delivery for less number of orders..
This is what that made Zuckerberg think about e-commerce..We have many e-commerce sites like Amazon, BigBasket, big bazaar,etc..This is a routine idea, nothing new in that.. But the beauty of this e-commerce was that it is not limited to the brand stores, it encourages our local small, micro, medium entrepreneurs too.. So, all these entrepreneurs can easily sell through Facebook shops..
HOW TO SELL??
Facebook shops are easy to create and sell.. The first & foremost requirement for the Facebook shop is to create a Facebook page in the name of your enterprise. List out the categories, add the items by category wise, display its image, name, quantity, price, discounted rates, the status of the quantity(in stock/ out of stock), description of the product, add location and other details to all the products.. Once the online store is ready, advertise your storefront then wait for your orders.. The payment can be done through Razorpay, Paypal, Paytm and delivery should be done by the entrepreneur...This is applicable to all the categories of business..

They try to build a dedicated shopping tab for this purpose.. With the help of AI(Artificial Intelligence), users near your location can easily spot your store, and AI even create live shopping experiences for some of the business.. For example, you would like to buy some furniture in your living room (or) buy door curtains for your home.. At this time, it asks for the color of the door, color & design of the wall, length, width & all necessary details and previews the user about its look.. So, its the user end to decide.. Soon they would globalize these facebook shops.. Click through purchases will be made available by them in future..
Facebook had started its tie-ups with shopping websites like Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Channel Advisor, Cafe24, etc.. and these do offer many free trials to encourage people selling online as a habit.. But entrepreneurs, Be aware of the transaction charges..In the end, it is all about the business they do have their own profits right.!! In addition to this disadvantage, the idea of including all the local small business online is a great step..
